>Most papers are considered leftist now but papers considered to be extreme leftist:

>Chicago Tribune
>New York Times
From what I've read, NYT has changed places. WaPo too.
>And of course NPR radio is considered to be left-wing while Foxnews and talk radio extreme right-wing.
My wife is listening to it most of the day. On a five-lane highway, they sound like there's three more lanes to the left of it. Or it's just our criteria on "what's left".
Or maybe we've just seen a broader spectrum? On my scale of -1 to 1 (-1 being extreme left and 1 being Pinochet), NPR may be around 0.51 - but the American political landscape may cover all of between(range, 0.49, 0.98).
