I, too, have known my share of bad people. Long, long time ago, I knew drug dealers, thieves, and even people who killed people in front of me for no better reason then that they interrupted them while they were watching a football game. Now, decades later, I follow the philosophy to not go to areas where those types are. No one should have ever seen what I have seen. But that was then, and this is now. Enough said.

>Many years ago, my Dad had befriended a retired "software company" owner at the marina where he keeps his boat. They would fish together periodically. I met him for the first time when he and his wife went to my Dad's place for a party. His wife was absolutely quite, never said a word the whole time. I could never get the story from him about what his software company did. Month or so later, my dad gets a letter from the FBI with this guy's picture on it. Turns out he was a dentist and he was the biggest cocaine dealer in Phili's history. The FBI was reading mail (or listening to phone calls) that these 2 sent back to friends at home. One from his wife stated that she was nervous cuz the dealer had befriended a retired FBI agent who he went fishing with and another mentioned a big mouse at a kids pizza party. The FBI sent mailings to retired agents in areas that had chucky cheeses and where fishing was likely. There are a couple of books written about him.

>>For the last year I commuted to work on the train with man. I have had him and his family over to barbeque several times. I have listened to his stories and idea. Never once did he ever give me the impression that he had anything but good intention for his family or the community.
