Richmond, California has the distinction of being California's most dangerous, and 11th most dangerous city in the nation, according to the 12th annual "Safest and Most Dangerous Cities".

The media was called on November 28th to the Richmond Police Headquarters where an announcement was made that Richmond had just hired a new police chief. When the announcement had concluded the television reporter said, “While we were standing here we counted five shots fired in rapid succession"!

Good luck to the new chief. He may find it different than his last job at Fargo, North Dakota!
