Definitely an improvement on the MP5. Many think the P90 will eventually become the standard tactical assault weapon in the U.S. once the ammunition restriction and classification issues are resolved. Armor piercing ammo is hard if not impossible to import to the U.S. If insurgents got a hold of P90s our troops would be in a lot of trouble. Wasn't it developed at NATO's request? I understand there are some problems when used against unarmored targets though...
