Thanks, Rick, but I'm not sure how relevant that thread is to me because (1) I'm using VFP7 and (2) the communication needs to go in the other direction. That is, I need my VFP application to call the PHP app, not the other way around.

Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing here, though <g>, so let me know if I'm not understanding that thread ... or if there's another way to skin this cat.
