You might succeed opening drawer with simple chr(7) character sent to it's port.
Also for display, you can make fake printer (use driver 'generic / text only') and show text with ?/?? commands.
In bot cases apropriate set printer to name (cPrinterName) has to be issued prior sending output.
Did not played with it for a long time but i it worked ust fine some years back...
