Gregory,

Here you are either deliberately lying or simply being naive. It was NOT a 'harmless' comment. Jean deliberately put those words in that one reply to me in his signature, to tease, derogate and provoke me (and the provocation has worked). There is a history and you know at least part of that history. Remember you asked the community here for a solution to a technical problem? One of the replies was from Jean. That's a good thing and it was a good answer. But Jean answered in Dutch. I reacted and told Jean to answer in future in English even to a Belgian. I also motivated it: because others here want to learn from the thread. It was a normal request to Jean that wasn't appreciated by him. He reacted with an insulting, derogatory remark. I told him this and he has not once offered the slightest apology.

In this context 'threatening with moderators' is not overreacting.
Groet,
Peter de Valença

Constructive frustration is the breeding ground of genius.
If there’s no willingness to moderate for the sake of good debate, then I have no willingness to debate at all.
Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
