Absolutely. The issue of Scan...Endscan should never have been trotted out by Mr. Ryan as it is rather inconsequential in the grand scheme of things<s>.

For regular implementation - often not. Once again, it depends on what you need to do with the data. If you need to pass recordsets around to different processes or needing to access data via the Web, ADO is a good choice.

What about VB or DHTML as a front end - with a VFP Middle tier. Would'nt you use ADO then?
