Are OOP menus and OOP reports important to you ?
Not really. Rather, complete ActiveX support is more important to me at the moment. Also, the ability to surface events in middle tier items is more important. As far as UI items go, I am probably going to be more inclined to use VB or DHTML - where object based menus is not an issue. As far as reports go, I think Crystal is on the right track. I just don't see MS pouring lots of $'s into the VFP menu and report designers. I think it is fairly evident that that VFP's place in VS is as a middle tier item.
If MS creates a common report writer or menu builder, then it would be my hope that VFP could host those kinds of designers - if they existed.
In terms of overall importance - OO menus and reports are way down the list since alternatives do exists. We need to the ability to raise events, better scalability of middle tier items, etc.
Just my 2 cents.
