It is important to note his warnings, especially not to use single-letter variables in VFP (A-J and M) as they are reserved words and will only get you in trouble. Also you do not need EXCLUSIVE and you are not using the name you generate for a temporary table. Encose you variable in parenthesis.
CREATE TABLE (CTABLEINFO) (SNO N(3),CNAME C(20), NFIELDS N(2), NRECS N(5), NSIZE N(6), DDATE D, CTIME C(10))
or much better yet, use a cursor that is a temporary tanble already.
CREATE CURSOR CTABLEINFO (SNO N(3),CNAME C(20), NFIELDS N(2), NRECS N(5), NSIZE N(6), DDATE D, CTIME C(10))
