>Periodically in version 8 and version 9, when a form appears, it appears as disabled and pressing anykey in any of the fields results in ÿ (the same as holding down the alt key to the left of the spacebar, while holding it down pressing the numeric keys 0255 in sequence on the numeric pad to the right and then releasing the alt key) results in ÿ. This will occur in all fields on the form (also the cursor is not visible) regardless of what key is actually pressed in any of the fields until the user presses both windows keys simultaneously twice. When that occurs, everything goes back to normal, focus returns to the form and the keys work correctly and the cursor is visible again.

Some things to look at if you haven't already tried them:

- disable AV
- check to see if there's any software installed that's hooking the keyboard e.g. screen capture apps, "hotkey" utilities etc.
- is Windows mousekeys/accessibility turned on?
- is it just one machine? Could it be a bad keyboard?
