Hi Michel,

Thanks for the speedy reply. Because of the way I've gone about things so far, it doesn't solve my problem though.

some curious observations:

Your recommendation to skip for

wexist("HUGForm")

causes the menu option to be dimmed, and thus works.

However attempts to address the hugform object if this condition is true (which it is)eg

hugform.release

give a "Hugform is not an object" error, and the offending forms stays open.

Is there a way round this curious behaviour?
