>>>That is really bizarre. Apparently the seasons don't even match. In the American release Danny got it at the end of the third season. The current season hasn't even hit these shores yet as far as I know.

>>What's so bizarre about the seasons' not matching? We rarely see any international film/TV show till after the States,. or even after France sometimes, for Godssakes. Take for e.g. "Rome". You've seen it all whereas we're on tedious episode 5, yet it's a BBC production (with HBO money). It's refeshing to hear we're one up on you?

>That wasn't what I meant. I understand that shows air at different times in different countries. But I have never heard of an instance like this, where an episode which is part of season 3 here is part of season 4 there.

Mike

To be perfectly honest, I'm confused. I don't know eher your perceived cross-over has taken place. As I said, I don't watch it all that much. I missed the end of the series where Danny was killed and that girl was "exiled". All I know is the current series has the "pretty" blond guy in it as head spook, the MI6 wife, the balding head of dept., the plainish-yet-surprisingly-alluring dark-haired reliable one, a new pretty girl (presumably to take the place of the one who went to prison) and your two techno wiz guys. The episodes I've seen have been very good and gripping.

Incidentally, the HOD has a rival "friend" whom he keeps meeting in his club (or at least did in prev. series), a very tall guy going bald but with scraggly hair at the back and sides. Do you recognise him?

He was Capt. Darling in Blackadder IV, and the dopey one in III. I got so used to seeing him in these comedy roles, but nowadays he only plays these sinister roles, and London gangster bosses, etc.
