I wanted to add something to these statements. I was conducting Nantucket's marketing for all Eastern Countries in late 91 and 92. We were based in Belgium which was a strategic place to get into these markets. The Polish market has always been dedicated to Clipper which was sold as the primary tool of any PC. The same went for Hungary. But Czech and Slovak markets were really Fox addicted. We even tried to run a kind of Amnesty program for all illegal Clipper users. Our plan was also to grab Fox users attention by legalizing their software. Even though the operation cannot be called a "fiasko" we didn't succeed the way we wanted. Today, Clipper is nearly dead (believe me when I say this I feel really sad, because I always thought Clipper was a very good product) and FoxPro has taken the pace. Visual FoxPro is really incredible and except few features of the Clipper language, I never felt so happy to use a Windows development language. I guess that people still remember me in these countries because I often spoke to them. If I can be of any use to spread the good word about VFP now, do me a favor, and drop me a line. Pat
