I don't know if it will work but try aliasing the field name as in:
select as
Larry

One of the Access tables has a fieldname with a numeric as its first character, this is fine in access but poor old Fox has a fit. I have tried renameing the field with CursorSetProp("UpdateNameList",, ) but I am still getting connectivity errors when I try to update the Access table.
