>>The UT software keeps rejecting my posts, saying something about embedded style attributes. I am going to try deleting your quotebacks one by one until it goes through, even if that renders my replies obscure. ("I trust this obscures," as a produced scriptwriter friend of mine likes to say).

>>Jools maybe, the head of MI-6 in the early episodes? He had a minor but vivid part. I don't know anything about Blackadder.

>Some time ago I talked about Hugh Laurie in "House" and was surprised to find that many knew him not just from his American roles, such as the dad in "Stuart Little", but also for his parts in 3 of the Blackadder TV series (UK), starring Rowan Atkinson. In Blackadder II the above mentioned was his foppish side-kick Percy; in B IV he was BA's arch-enemy, a staff officer called Capt. Darling.

>If you never saw BA then this will mean nothing.

Hugh Laurie was Lieutenant George St Barleigh in Blackadder. Captain Darling was played by Tim McInnery who also played Lord Percy in Blackadder II .
