Hey Richard,

This is a security issue. One of the patches released by MS closed this access to help files not on the local drive. There is a way to open this back up in the registry. I created a .reg file to be run on the computers needing access to my help files:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

Run this file on users computer when the help file will NOT run across a
network. This will change the registry to allow to the files across the
intranet.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions]
"MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000001

>I have a CHM file residing on a novell server whose drive is mapped. When I run it from Explorer, I get the "Action Canceled" page and not my default page. HHCTrl.ocx is installed (internal name is HHCtrl 1.41) I can open the same file if it's moved to the C: drive. This file at one time did work from this location. I'm assuming there was a Windows SP/fix that did this.
