I have MCE on one of my machines and don't have any issues with VFP or VS on the box. From what I can tell MCE just adds the Media Center to the XP Pro.

>Anybody use Windows Media Center Edition on their development machine? I may buy a laptop with it installed and I was wondering if there are any known issues. It will need it to behave properly on a network, as does WinXP Pro. I am hoping it has all the components/features WinXP Pro has with the added media-centric features, without adding any incompatibilities, bugs (not significant ones, at least), or security problems. I can always wipe the drive and install WinXP Pro, but would like to keep MCE if it won't cause me any problems.
