Oddly enough I can't blame them for any mess in my office. Somehow - miracle of miracles - they got the idea that Daddy's office is OFF LIMITS. I don't remember trying to teach them that!
My ex-wife cleaned my office when I got recalled for the Gulf War. She was a clean-freak and couldn't stand "my mess". I had a small business at the time, and it damn near ruined me - years later I was still finding uncashed checks.
Just one of the many charming traits she had that made her an "ex-".
