Jim,

No need to yell <s>.

If MS positions VFP as a middle tier product, then I will make suggestions that further that - in making it the best middle tier product possible.

OOP menus and reports do not serve to further that purpose. Improvements in scaleability and the ability to raise events, or direct mapping of an ADO recordset to a VFP cursor OTOH does.

Bottom line, I don't dictate product direction or strategy. I happen to think that VFP can make for a great middle tier. It is clear that this is where MS wants to take the product. So, I will do my part to help that cause. Do I think more should be done for the UI, for folks like yourself that wish to use VFP as the UI, yes I do. But, and I can only speak for my self, I am not going to sit around and wait for MS to do something. Rather, I am going to be pro-active in learning how VFP can work with other tools.

I am sorry if this conflicts with your view point.

As far as my viewpoints regarding MS, you appear to have some real issues with that. Suffice it to say that I am pretty comfortable with things. You appear to be more concerned with these things than I. How you choose to deal with that is your business. If you wan't to debate me on technical issues, I am all ears. If you are comfortable with your position, that's fine - or at least - that's probably all you should be concerned with. My view points regarding MS really should not concern you. Certainly, your view points regarding MS don't concern me.<s>
