I realize that. But my program that uses FoxFix scans the DBF table without opening it (at least I thought it does not open it, but now that I type this message I realize that I was probably wrong). You see, I thought that FoxFix will catch the error and fix it before the program opens the table. But, the strange thing is that FoxFix does catches the error and fixes it when the .EXE is compiled with VFP 6.
