PayPal does have amount limits, however. And they do not accept Amex Corporate cards, which they used to detail in an FAQ but do not seem to detail now.

I've just dumped my existing provider and signed up with MerchantPlus/Authorize.Net, and I found them to be as responsive as Rick describes.
