I wonder why there are so many items in Google news that talk about how Karl Rove's lawyer is a "liberal"? Hmmm... is someone feeding that item to the the newswires... The lawyer sounds like he is a normal lawyer, no conscience, have gun will travel, works for whoever pays the money, says whatever he has to get what he wants. On the other hand, I think with those news items Rove is setting the stage to blame the "liberals" for his indictment and possible conviction because his case was "sabotaged" by his political rivals.

I will admit it, Rove makes me sick. He is brilliant in the same way Nicolo Machiavelo was, no doubt, and as much of an SOB. What most bothers me is that he is so succesful at painting his side as "pure" and his opponents as no good. Pure evil, I think.

Mr Rove and his boss have got their country and the world in such a pickle and they won't admit to any doubts: today Mr Bush said he would have invaded Irak even if he knew everything he now knows (including that there were no WMD I assume... but we knew that). Just keep pressing Americans' fear buttons and you will get suppert. It seems that Mr Bush, together with bin Ladin and Sharon think God is on their side. What a problem we have!
