George,

In reference to:

Ed:
>>Now I can get back to trying to get the Report Control toobar active during a MODI LABEL. If I use the View menu / KEYBOARD technique, then the user is exposed to the Data Enviornment and Tabel Designer which I don't want. If I use the Resource File / Read Only technique then the Report Control toolbar will also popup right in the middle of a PRINT PREVIEW of all things.

George:
>Glad to hear that you got it working. I assume that when you mention the resource file, you're referring to customizing the Report
Designer toolbar, not the Report Controls toolbar. That's very strange behavior, and I must admit that I've never encountered it, so I'm
at a loss here. This is a good example, of why I'd like to see an OOP Report Designer.<

Sorry for being so cursive but I can never tell where the line is between writting an article and not saying enough.

I was refering to KB Q138969 "Including Report Toolbars in a Distributed Application." In this article they mention two work arounds; neither of which works for me.

>I don't really think that it was "hidden". It is the bar that Quick Menu creates.

>No, I won't get my copy of the beta until the next update to my MSDN subscription is released. I don't believe it has, but can't say for certain.
