Greetings -
We just migrated an existing application to Visual FoxPro 9.0 SP1. Everything is proceeding as expected with the exception of the "creating type library and registering COM Component" stage of building an EXE. In VFP 8 this happens very quickly; under VFP 9 it's taking over a minute.
We are getting the same behavior on two different workstations when working with the same application. Removing the two OLE Public classes (actually just making them non-OLE Public) results in very fast builds. Making either one OLE Public again, or simily adding the Visual FoxPro 9.0 Sample CRMClient.PRG (which defines an OLE Public class) gets us right back to over a minute for each build.
Anyone have any ideas?
___ Additional Info ________________________________
It looks like there is a recompilation of certain source objects during the "creating type library and registering COM Component" stage of building an EXE. It looks like there is a brief display of a compile progress meter flashing while the COM Server is being registered... This is not seen when building the EXE under Visual FoxPro 8.0.
