It's a known issue. Don't expect a fix.
>Can I get some tech support here on the VFP 8 mouse pad that was given out at the product launch? Mine seems defective. I had been using my new laptop computer without a mouse for a few days now and got around to hooking up an external USB Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse. Suddenly, I was having a problem with it kind of starting and stopping. Not smooth, consistent motion, but a little bit jumpy at times. I figured I had a bad driver (for now it was just using the MS-supplied driver - I had not installed the Logitech drivers). Then I decided to just put the mouse down on the desk and now it seems to be working fine. So I'm wondering, who do I see about a refund? <g> I now seem to remember that optical mice actually work best on a consistently colored (solid) surface and so I assume the graphics and text on the VFP 8 mouse pad are not conducive to rewarding mousing.
