>Oh, good, because my next question was going to be "where's the bug reporting site for the VFP 8 mousepad?" Good to know that someone else was on the ball! <g>

>>>Can I get some tech support here on the VFP 8 mouse pad that was given out at the product launch? Mine seems defective. I had been using my new laptop computer without a mouse for a few days now and got around to hooking up an external USB Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse. Suddenly, I was having a problem with it kind of starting and stopping. Not smooth, consistent motion, but a little bit jumpy at times. I figured I had a bad driver (for now it was just using the MS-supplied driver - I had not installed the Logitech drivers). Then I decided to just put the mouse down on the desk and now it seems to be working fine. So I'm wondering, who do I see about a refund? <g> I now seem to remember that optical mice actually work best on a consistently colored (solid) surface and so I assume the graphics and text on the VFP 8 mouse pad are not conducive to rewarding mousing.

Russel,
You should reboot your computer several times to see if the mousepad wiil works OK after that. It is usual Windows maintanace :o)
Then if that doesn't helps switch to .NET pad :o)
