One theory I heard today is that Iran (well, their leader) is trying to provoke Israel into doing just that.
I must admit that I am of two minds on this possibility... I'm not sure we've heard that Iran is anywhere near capable of buiding nukes yet, but if they ever do get close I hope Israel will.
What I hope to see is that Iran is permitted - under very strong/thorough international observation - to build their nuclear power generators. Possibly even be forced to send their "spent fuel" somewhere, like Russia or whoever.
I don't honestly think that "the world" would react very well if Israel did do something, no matter when. But that has never stopped Israel before.
>And Israel is preparing an attack on Iranian nuclear installations. Will presumably happen in March. They have my sympathy, but how will 'the world' react?
