I thought of creating a Browse window and hiding it, but that would be a last resort. I tried using SET KEY when I encountered this problem a couple of weeks ago, when I was updating a Grid, but SET KEY didn't fix the problem. I sent a Bug Report to Microsoft, and decided to using several sets of SEEK and SCAN FOR to mimic the behavior of a Relation. In my Bug Report, I demonstrated the problem by using the code from the VFP Help file under the SET SKIP command. Executing that code from the Command Window replicates the problem.
