My company is finally upgrading the user's desktops from Win 3.1 to NT 4. To install applications they are using a process that takes a snap shot of a installation on a clean machine to determine what they need to install when a user is given access to an application. All our applications are located on Novell servers so all we need to install is the VFP Runtime files on the desktop. I used the Setup Wizard to create a setup that installs a zero byte text file and checked the install runtime option. I included the COM control OCX's with the distribution files directory. The network engineer doing the snap shots is getting an error from the setup stating that COMCTL32.OCX failed to register. Of course that's the one I actually need. The others were included for possible future use. I ran the setup on a UAT test machine and got the error on FOXHWND.OCX. It works fine on my development machhine. Any ideas what could be causing the failure to register correctly?
