You can also try function provided in XDIR tool here on UT.
Function there will clean up all frx files found along given path including subfolders.

You can run it on your dev directory (or even entire drive)
It will find & clean all frx files.

It will also preserve report orientation and paper size as you are trying to do.

If you don't like function there, you can apply your own.
