My suggestion was for a Filter to hide the Child records that don't match the current Parent record. The records aren't hidden unless one opens a Browse Window and clicks on the Parent record.
If we reversed the Relation, as you suggested, the filter would do the same thing, but in reverse. Since it is a now a Many-to-One Relation, the Many would be Filtered to show only the records that match the One. For example, if you had a table of all of the people in the US, and had it Related to a table with the names of the 50 states, if you clicked on New York in the States table, you would only want to see the people from New York in the People table. If you reversed the Relation, you would still only want to see the people from New York. I hope that I didn't just make it even more confusing.
