Ken,

I have personally OCRed a year and a half worth of the Tip and ... articles from FP Advisor. I did this so that I could have them "sorted" to my liking.
I use this personally and I wouldn't offer it to anyone else for fear of breaking copyright (and Barbara's letter seems to confirm). But then again, I don't copy software either.

The *only* reason that I respect copyright is simply that, someday, someone might do the same to me, and I surely wouldn't appreciate it.

Cheers,

Jim N

>I just took a bunch of phone bills to Kinko's and had them OCRed. (My long distance carrier didn't include the diskette for one month). They charge $9.95 for the 1st page and $1.95 for additional pages. You can get it back in almost perfect condition (all words OK but some formatting missing) in MS Word, ASCII, Word perfect, Macintosh and other formats. If you own the magazine, this wouldn't be a copyright violation if you are the one that will use it.

>>>In the March/98 issue of FoxPro advisor there were two aricles describing an excellent method to adapt FP 2.6 progs to year 2000 compliance. (Survive the Year 2000, and Automate the Year 2000 solution). Advisor magazine is out of the disks. Can anybody save me the chore and mistakes inherent in keying in all that code by sending them to me.
