Russell,

Here are my conclusions on the matter...

Initial suspicion for the defective behaviour centred on the "Visual Studio.NET inclusion on the device face. It is well known that VFP cannot be integrated with .NET. However, spectrographical analysis employing both nominal and hyper-polarized amplified waves as well as a molecular substrate decompositional isotopic refactor performed at CERN revealed that while .NET had pervaded much of the surface it had made only minor incursions into the VFP8 area. Clearly this did not explain the observed device-wide failures widely reported.

Study then moved to the macro electron microscope. After comparing metrics from regular observations combined with fragmentational pixellations captured by the warp fractionization elements and interpolating the variegational gravitational displacements that became apparent upon moving the study to the fulcrum of a magnetic resonance imager a board of engineers, scientists and other hommaged persons unanimously concluded:
1) The device was manufactured using materials from 43 independent sources, all arriving at the plant under JIT specifications involving severe penalties for disruptions in supply. Unfortunately the top stratum had been manufactured on machinery infected by a virus.
2) This virus undoubtedly originated from a military installation in China;
3) The originating group, known to be hell-bent on disrupting the U.S. economy, had gone to great lengths to develop the virus to operate in any environment;
4) The controller of the device's top stratum's manufacturing machinery was running a pirated copy of Linux.
5) The VFP8 EULA expressly forbids VFP8 running under non Windows-based systems so the VFP elements of the device engaged their BSOD antibodies (installed in all MS offerings since XP) to degenerate the surface to disrupt optically driven mice.

This should tell you why the situation is irreversible.

>A travesty, no doubt . . . <g>

>>Hey Russell.

>>According to the VFP roadmap, there are no current plans to enhance or upgrade the VFP 8 mouse pad. However, perhaps you could propose that as a project for SednaX.
