I am reading and writing fields to a foxpro database via asp.net using SQL "Update" commands and OLE DB. It all works fine unless it is a memo field that contains a carriage return and line feed character. I can read such a memo field just fine and display it in a multi-line textbox, but when I save it back to the database I get an error. The error goes away if I delete those characters, but I don't want to lose the formatting. I'm sure others have already solved this puzzle. Any advice?
