Actually even MS Word often (after any edits) has to run a "report" twice to get the number of pages. It's basically the "repageinate" function, and if you watch the little status panel in the Word, you can see it in action...they just have a smoother interface which doesn't display the same message twice :) That's really all we need in FP. I think there's no way any software can know the total pages without two passes...
