Sometimes, you want Codemine to focus on different cursors at different times for different things. Quite often, if you have different cursors on different pages of a pageframe with a common set of Tool buttons, when you change page, if you want the Save/Cancel buttons to act on the cursors on the changed page, then in the AfterPageChange event, you might set thisform.cSaveWorkarea = "DifferentCursor".
The same can be true of loading different cursors in modal forms. Sometimes, CM needs to be told what you expect it to do. Look up these properties in the CM help and see if they will help.
I wasn't sure what your exact problem was - were you not seeing any records in some of the forms, was this after adding new records or even when there were existing records? Was this only in grids? If so, what happens if you add a dummy textbox onto the form to see whether you can see the data in standard controls and its not just a problem with the grids.
