From "The Warriors" - a NY gang who go to a meeting of all the gangs, where this evangelising gang leader tries to get them all to declare peace. He's assassinated and the Warriors get the blame. They then have to run the gauntlat all across NY to get home, with all gangs against them. The "Can you dig it?" bit is part of the chief honcho's speech.
Incidentally, although this film came out in the 70s, I discovered that it's recently been made into a computer game, complete with the above scene and quote.

- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
