>It's certainly nothing new. They just have better tools now to investigate these kinds of things than they had that long ago. At the time, I didn't think much of it, as the Cold War was still in full swing and it would have surprised me if it wasn't investigated. I don't see why people would be so surprised now if it attracts attention. Big Brother is (and has been) watching. ;)
