Kudos to the Chargers. They did what only the Bengals had come close to doing all season -- beat the Colts. Just keep in mind that this was a must-win for the Chargers and the Colts are already tapering, as they put it in swimming and distance running, for the Super Bowl run. If I had to put money down it would be on the Colts.

Have always liked Drew Brees. I saw him play many times in college and was impressed by his quarterback astuteness, for lack of a better term. He didn't necessarily have the biggest gun of an arm. You can find that in a punt-pass-kick competition, or in Michael Vick. But even then he knew how to read the defense and go to his second or third option. He varied the trajectory of the pass in a way you don't normally see in college QBs.
