I have found more strangeness!

On my sample form the listbox on each page of the pageframe is in the exact same position as the others. If I move the first list box to a different location then that listbox is again clickable first time. If I put all listboxes in different locations then all work properly first time!

So I can either (a) remove the refresh code or (b) put the listboxes in different positions. Weird :)
