Hi all,
You're talking to a .NET rookie here, so keep it simple (bg).
I have a Win2K3 server (no SP1 yet, for a reason) on which I've configured both the file server and application server roles. The application server role installed the 1.1 version of the framework, which seems to work fine.
I've just installed the 2.0 runtimes, downloaded from MSDN, and those also seem to have installed correctly. However, when I now attempt to view any of the previously working ASP.NET pages we've created, an error occurs and the version line below reads ".NET Framework 1.1" with some other stuff. Also, there's no configuration utility for 2.0 in the "Manage Your Server" area (like there is for 1.1), and I can't seem to find where to *uninstall* the 1.1 portion, since it doesn't show up in the Programs list.
There's GOT to be a way to tell IIS that we're using the 2.0 framework, but I can't find it anywhere. I *know* there's an easy answer for this somewhere out here in UT-land -- anybody got one handy?????
TIA,
