Currently there are 4 options for version (in the .NET forum):
C# 1.1
C# 2.0
VB.NET 1.1
VB.NET 2.0
So it tells you both the (framework) version on the language.
IMO the only thing that separates VB(.NET) from C# is syntax (and a different payscale <s>)
