You have helped me several times before...always with success. Many thanks. I fixed the problem. I had forgotten that you have to put a config.fpw file in the VFP Program File Directory with the command:
COMMAND= CHDIR.
When done the problem was fixed. Think you helped on this before, but it's been almost two years and I'm forgetful & didn't write it down. Anyway, once again, my thanks.

By the way, does VFP 8.0 fix this problem. Have a chance to buy this version @ a reasonable price and wanted to know whether it's worth my while to purchase it.
