This is really a shame:
Open a command box. Copy a number of htm-files to a test folder. Copy the same files, but now give them the html extension. Then go to that test folder and type:
del *.htm
What? Your html-files are gone also? I told you, it's a shame! And it happens with other extensions also. Who's gonna sue MS?
Moreover, the deleted files are also not in the recycle bin. Remarkable.
Now a question: who knows an undelete tool?
