Hi Jayesh,

The purpose of the ActiveDoc is to help compiled applications in VFP run on the browser. Which means you could have your forms with grids and data right into the browser.

You need to set the ActiveDoc as the main program of your project to achieve this. The problem though is that the VFP run time files are still required on the client so it would make more sense only for intranets.

The advantages are different and would be from an application's perspective. Example your forms would actually be reports which could be printed right away from the browser. Less training would be required as users would be familier with the browser interface and so on....

Moreover, the same application would run independently when compiled again with a main.prg as a main program.
