Will try to keep it short. Installed a very stable VFP6 app on a newly imaged laptop in my dept. Immediately got a vague error about a path problem. Did usual investigations, but no dice.

Here's the kicker.... Decided to install VFP6/SP5 on his machine to run some traces to debug the issue. VFP6 WON'T RUN! Immediately get the following error: "Error locating config file. Bad path" and it quits. So I can't even run this valid Microsoft program on this Win2K machine. My only guess is that the IT build is missing something and/or one of the startup scripts or ZenWorks is messing w/ something. I'm not sure where to even start, but I'm pretty certain that the answer will fix the first problem. Someone addressed this on Experts-Exchange, but none of the answers got anywere.

Any advice is appreciated as always,

Bruce Covey
