I gave up on Vista. I'm now trying to use the Northwind DB with sqlexpress 2005, vs2005 mm2.0. And VS crashes in the Business Layer Generator when I click on a table in the Northwind database. Apparently the Bus Lay Gen can open the connection because it shows the tables, but it crashes VS when I click on any table. If I change my bus.cs and app.config to point to the Adventureworks database, it works fine. Something is amiss about the Northwind DB I guess. Any ideas? Do you have a fix to the Bus Lay Gen that doesn't crash VS?

>You can definitely use VistaDb...I recommend trying to get your data access working through Visual Studio Server Explorer before trying the generator.
