Vladimir,

Thanks, I'll have to check it out. The version I currently have wouldn't open vob files when I tried it yesterday. Free is always good. *g*

Update: It turns out that I do have 2.1 installed. I still can't find a way to import the vob files directly from the disc. Do I have to capture from the camera playing back the disc? I'd really rather not transfer the 1/4gb over the USB2 connection if I can get it at disc transfer rates.

>you can use microsoft movie maker2... it might be not the best of the beast ;) but it has the feature which can't be beaten-it is free. Also, take a look over Pinnacle Studio 9.x
