I thought the goal here was to compare data handling in both products in the same environment. Since a VFP frontend with a SQL backend is a common environment and can be accomplished using both products, it is a great comparison and will be a good demonstration of dotnet's data handling procedures. The whole world knows that dotnet does not have a local data engine and no comparison can be done in that area. I for one wanted to see a good example of the different ways that dotnet can handle data in an effective manner without being a slug. Please do not focus on ripping dotnet to shreads over an apple to oranges comparision that will never happen but rather allow Rod to demonstrate his ideas on different data handling techniques in the two products. Or did I misunderstand?
